Ledisi Revamps Nina Simone’s Classic Work on ‘Ledisi Sings Nina’ Ledisi has a new project called, Ledisi Sings Nina. The album is comprised of seven Nina Simone covers. The album was recorded in Holland, Los Angeles, London and New Orleans before and after the pandemic. Ledisi will be performing at the Newport Jazz Festival on July 31.
