John Legend Honored At Grammy’s Black Music Collective Event John Legend was recently honored at the Grammys Black Music Collective event. In his speech, he said, “I’m proud to celebrate and honor and cultivate our music.” He then said, “Black music is and has been the rhythm, the root, the inspiration, the innovation behind so much of the world’s popular music. It doesn’t exist without us.” Others honored during the event include MC Lyte and D-Nice. What would you like to be honored for in your lifetime?
