Breast Cancer Awareness Month

You’ve seen pink everywhere lately. We all know, but often need reminding, that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. That’s why every year the month of October is recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In honor of those fighting Breast Cancer, 92.1 WROU shines the Survivor Spot Light on those who have lost and those who continue to in the valiant fight against breast cancer.

Early detection through mammograms significantly improves the chances of surviving breast cancer. If you are age 40 or over, schedule your mammogram today.  The 92.1 Survivor Spotlight is presented by The Bob Ross Auto Group and The Norma J. Ross Foundation.
