Whitney Houston set a lot records in her musical career, for instance Whitney has the most triple crown hits by a female artist. Whitney had four singles top the three charts of Billboard. “Saving all my love” “How will I know” “All the man that I need” and “I will always love you” topped the Hot 100, Adult Contemporary and R&B charts. Whitney is the only female artist who has ever achieved that. Her single “I will always love you” topped the charts for 14 consecutive weeks and is the best selling single by a woman in music history! With credentials like that it appears that Whitney is a for sure first ballot inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Another first time nominee this year is Biggie Small (Notorious B-I-G). The Brooklyn rapper dominated the early to mid 90’s rap scene along with his producer known then as “Puffy” aka Sean Combs. Biggie was shot and killed in California in the Spring of 1997, about six months after rapper Tupac Shakur was shot and killed in Vegas. Shakur was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Fans can go to Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website and vote thru January. The ceremony is scheduled for May 2nd 2020 at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio!
