Smollett trial to resume with defense possibly calling him

Jussie Smollett Takes The Stand In His Own Trial Jussie Smollett spilled some high octane tea as he took the stand in his defense of false reporting crimes. In a Chicago courtroom on Monday, Smollett’s attorney asked about his relationship with a key prosecution witness, Abimbola Osundairo.  Last week, Osundario said Smollett paid him and his brother to carry out the alleged fake attack that Jussie reported as a hate crime.  On the stand, Smollett said he and Osundario met at a club, did cocaine and weed, went to a bathhouse, and became intimate with each other.  Experts think the defense is trying to build a case against Osundario and his brother to attack Smollett themselves. Smollett’s team has already tried to paint Osundario’s older brother as a homophobe.  Do you think Jussie’s team will stand a chance at this kind of defense?
