This scheme where wealthy parents are accused of cheating to get their children into prestigious Universities has now became the largest college admission scam ever prosecuted by the Department of Justice. Over fifty individuals are facing federal charges connected to the alleged scam. In one case the Mother was charged but the Father was not, the Dad claimed claimed he knew nothing about his wife’s actions. I am not that familiar with Actor William H. Lacy or his wife Actress Felicity Huffman, the Mother and Father I’m referring to, but if he wants me to believe his wife spent 110K to get his daughter into the University of Southern California and he knew absolutely nothing about it, well I can’t. For the record I attended USC, let me say first the only reason I was admitted to Southern Cal University was because I was Honorably discharged from the Military after six years and the U.S. Government promised me they would pay for my education. I would of loved to of skipped the 13 weeks of basic training at Fort Jackson or my 24 months in Boebligen Germany (an hour outside of Munich), my 18 months in the Calvary unit at Ft. Stewart in Savannah Ga., do you have any idea how hot & humid it gets in Savannah in the Summer? Trust me, you don’t want to know! I would of slept better EVERY night of those six years if my parents could of payed 110K to get me in Southern Cal Univ., that way I would of slept better at night & not worried about a War starting somewhere in the world and I ending up in the middle of it. The Infantry and The Calvary normally deploy first to war and I was in the 2/9 Calvary. It was serious. Everyday. The gap between the have’s and the have nots in our Country is widening every day. I saw a story where a California student scored a near perfect ACT score but was rejected by USC, as an Alumni of the University that just sickens me. I’m assuming the University of Southern California really cares less about how I feel considering I have not put money in any of those ‘Donation’ envelopes they send me monthly!
