Refs Broke My Heart!

Last year when my Saints lost in the last second to the Vikings in the Playoffs they could not blame anyone but themselves. All the defense had to do was not let them score with less than a minute to play. They’re BAD.  It was a totally different story this year. They DO have someone to blame. The Referees.  The call or the non-call pass interference at the end of regulation would of wrapped up the NFC Championship and a trip to Super Bowl 53 to face the New England Patriots. Instead they are preparing for next season. This call was so wrong it has led to the owner of the Saints, Gayle Benson to write a letter to the NFL questioning the integrity of the game. “Integrity” is a word the NFL does not even want to bring up.

Once fans question the fairness of the game, I don’t believe fans  would remain fans. Is it just me or does it seem the Saints always get the short end of the stick dating back to Bounty Gate and the suspension of Coach Sean Payton?  Is also just me that thinks that the Patriots always gets the benefit of the doubt. From Spy Gate to deflated balls, nothing ever sticks to the Patriots.  Well, there is always next year. It will be difficult but us Saints fans will just have to move on…….I will move on to the Golden State Warriors, folks in New Orleans can move on to the Pelicans…….good luck with that.
