NBA, NFL Pay Tribute To George Floyd On One-Year Anniversary Of His Death The NBA and NFL are both paying tribute to George Floyd on the one-year anniversary of his death. The NFL released a special four-minute video featuring current players Justin Reid and DeMario Davis – along with retired great Doug Williams – reflecting on Floyd’s death and recent trial of Derek Chauvin.
