Unlike previous seasons, Ohio NBA fans do not have Championship aspirations this year, or at least they shouldn’t. Trust me it’s going to be a long, long season. It’s going to be like the old days.
The Cavs may as well play this season back in the Richfield Coliseum. That cold, dark, damp place they played back in the 70’s and 80’s. I hear the die hard Cav fans talking about still winning games and going to the playoffs. Please. Trust me, it’s back to the lottery after this season ends. A rookie point gaurd, a reality TV center, a attention deficit shooting guard and a Laker reject aint gonna cut it, even in the watered down eastern conference. It’s going to take some time to recover from losing the best player the organization has ever had. How long? Put it like this…MAYBE our CHILDREN will see the Cavs win another championship, but WE will all be in White robes singing with the Angels when the Cavs win another Championship!
How do the Lakers keep Kobe 20 years and we lose LBJ twice in less than 7? Fans will boo James when he returns with the Lakers, they need to boo the owner. The owner loses him twice and fails to surround him with other players that could help bring another Championship to the city of Cleveland. Oh well, . . just for the record I like the Lakers and Golden State in the West,,, Boston and Toronto in the East. Cleveland still has Baker Mayfield so maybe a Super Bowl is in their future, but forget about hoops, your opportunity moved to L.A.
