Michelle Obama To Be Honored With Freedom Award by the National Civil Rights Museum Former First Lady Michelle Obama will receive the National Civil Rights Museum Freedom Award. The award honors, individuals who have made significant contributions in civil rights and who have laid the foundation for present and future leaders in the battle for human rights. Past recipients include John Lewis She will receive the award virtually on October 14th.
