Kobe and Gianna Bryant Have Been Laid To Rest In A Private Ceremony.

Amid the growing anticipation of details being announced about a public memorial service for all 9 victims lost more than 2 weeks ago, ET online is reporting that Kobe and his daughter “GiGi” were quietly laid to rest this past Friday in  Corona Del Mar, California.

Friends close to the family say that the funeral was hard for everyone and the family reserved the right to grieve in private for their final good-byes.

In addition to the private funeral, a public memorial will be held for Kobe and Gianna on Monday, Feb. 24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Kobe played professional basketball with the Lakers for his whole 20-year career. “24” is a special date, as it’s the number Kobe played in since the 2006-07 season. It’s the same number he had in high school at Lower Merion.
