Keyshia Cole Reveals Her Father Has Died From COVID-19 Just 4 Months After Losing Her Mother Keyshia Cole announced Monday evening that her father, Leon Cole, has passed away due to complications from COVID-19. Cole posted a beautiful tribute to her adoptive father via Instagram stating, “He’s the entire reason my last name is COLE, The only father I knew, he did such a great job here on earth!!!!!”. Cole’s biological mother, Frankie, passed away over the summer from a drug overdose.
