The NFL kicked off the season on Sunday by revealing that Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show. The 37-year-old rapper is one of the most iconic names in hip-hop and released one of the biggest hits of the year with “Not Like Us”. In a statement, Lamar said “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date, and I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.” Super Bowl LIX will be held Feb. 9th at the Superdome in New Orleans.
