The ‘Empire” actor has contributed a portion of proceeds from his CD ‘Sum of my music” to Black Aids institute, Flint Kids, The Trayvon Martin Foundation, ACLU, and the Anthony Burrell Dance School. Jussie who plays Jamal Lyon on the hit series “The Empire” is no stranger to giving special gifts to special people. he recently gave the parents of 6 year old double amputee Kayden Kinckle an handicap accessible van for her to get around in.
