CDC Looking At Whether It’s Necessary To Wear Masks Outdoors The CDC is revisiting its guidelines for wearing facemasks outdoors. Appearing on The Today Show Thursday, director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said the agency is “looking at the outdoor masking question”, along with the question of whether vaccinated people can still spread the virus. Many states that passed outdoor mask mandates have already lifted them or are considering doing so in the coming weeks.
