Going Into Debt For Holiday Shopping: Is It Worth It?

Every year about this time people are making the decision about buying gifts or paying bills! Those 2 choices really should NOT be in the same sentence. But, we do it year after year wanting to buy the PERFECT gift for family and friends that within a week’s time is just another “thing” we have.

This year why not give memories or experiences instead of things you really cannot afford? Make every moment something special and engaging and most of all full of love and compassion for your fellow man.

Maybe volunteer on Christmas morning at a homeless shelter as a family. Perhaps prepare “gift bags” for the homeless(containing a snack, personal care products,a pair of socks, travelsize toothpaste and toothbrush) and pass them out or deliver them to a homeless shelter for distribution. Maybe even adopt a family and give the gift of fellowship to them.

Just my 2 cents in this BILLION Dollar season.
