“Girlfriends” defend R. Kelly

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - FEBRUARY 23: Jocelyn Savage (R) and Azriel Clary arrive for a bond hearing for R&B singer R. Kelly at the Leighton Criminal Court Building on February 23, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Jocelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, the two women living with R. Kelly acknowledged they are both his girlfriends and that both sets of their parents are lying.  They also claimed that their  parents encouraged them to lie to R. Kelly about their true age. Jocelyn claims her parents even lied to Police about her true age. The interview with Gayle King on CBS News came the same day R. Kelly was returned to jail for failure to pay child support. His spokesperson said friends are raising the $162,000 needed for his release. They expect Kelly to be out by next week.

The parents motives needs to be scrutinized, not that it clears R. Kelly, but one has to question a parents intent to even want their daughter to attend a R. Kelly concert then push for a one on one meeting, then to not mind their daughter having  ANY type of  relationship with a 50 year old man after all the allegations in his past seems very peculiar to me. I would not want Sylvia,  my 17 year old daughter in the same room with R. Kelly at this point, so what was motivating them?  I’m sure we will get the answers to all of our questions at the upcoming trial. Stay tuned.
