As I was sliding (driving) into work this morning, I felt bad for folks who have a distance to drive to work on a morning like this. I am pretty lucky that I only live about a mile from the radio station, so I don’t have to go far. I moved to Dayton back in July but even back then when it was sunny and 82 degrees I knew weather like this was on the horizon. I knew I had to be close because driving (slipping) in winter conditions is not my strong card, especially after living in Louisiana & Georgia for the past two decades. So please be careful on the roads and stay alert, don’t text and keep a safe distance back from the vehicle in front of you. Those would be driving tips from someone who has not driven in winter conditions since the winter of 1992, but just trust me on this one!
