The Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Univ. of Wisconsin Saturday night to claim the Big 10 Championship and will move on to the semi-final National Championship game December 28th against the defending champs, 3rd ranked Clemson Tigers. The other semi final game has the top ranked L.S.U. Tigers taking on 4th ranked Oklahoma Sooner’s. The Buckeyes will play in Tempe Arizona and the second game will be played in Atlanta. The winners will play for the National Championship in the Super dome in New Orleans. The L.S.U. Tigers clearly have home field advantage if they should reach the Championship game, the Super Dome is less than a two hour drive from the campus of L.S.U. in Baton Rouge. I believe Ohio State is the best team of the four but if they should happen to play LSU in New Orleans for the Championship it will be tough but I’ll roll with the Bucks! The QB for LSU transferred from Ohio State to LSU last year so the players are familiar with Joe Burrows, that should help a bit in front of a hostile crowd. Then again the Buckeye fans travel deep so that may off set the crowd being all for LSU. I have State over Clemson 34-37 and LSU over Oklahoma 42-30.
New Year Resolutions! How are they working out?
