Barbara Lewis Is 75

Smooth-voiced Barbara Lewis was born in Salem, Michigan in 1943 and has had a great singer-songwriting career.

In 1995, Lewis’ “Baby I’m Yours” was featured on the soundtrack for the film The Bridges of Madison County, and in 2016 “Hello Stranger” was featured on the soundtrack for the film Moonlight. She received the Pioneer Award from the Rhythm and Blues Foundation in 1999.

Health issues forced Lewis to retire from singing in 2017.  Enjoy Barbara performing”Baby I’m Yours” in 1965.
