Ohio asks Vaccine Recipients, ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire?’
In an effort to encourage vaccination stragglers to get their shots, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is offering each of them a chance to win $1 million.
DeWine says the names of residents who get vaccinated will be entered into a drawing from which five winners were be selected every week. Each of the five will win $1 million. Every resident who’s 18 or older and has received at least one shot by the date of each drawing will be eligible, DeWine says.
The Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Lottery Commission have promised to reveal full details on the lottery sometime next week.
