L.A. Clippers owner Donald Sterling is making big head lines with his racial comments about his girlfriend, V. Stiviano, taking a picture with Magic Johnson. Sterling told his girlfriend that he did not want her bringing Johnson or any other African Americans to his games. Now that Sterling has come under fire, he is asking his now ex girlfriend what they can do to make all of this controversy disappear. Stiviano is in possession of over 100 hours of recording between her and Sterling and these tapes could further more damage Sterling’s reputation. She said Sterling asked to be recorded and knows he is being recorded so if he ever forgets anything the tapes can refresh his memory. At least that’s her story. Sources close to Stiviano say she is in the works of writing a book about her life, which she claims is not about Donald Sterling but then why else would she have over 100 hours of audio?

Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z made surprise appearances this past weekend at Coachella. They were both unannounced performances but the crowds went crazy. Beyonce was the first to take the stage. She danced during her sister Solange’s set. The audience loved it even though Beyonce did not sing a single note. Next Jay-Z rapped along side his nemesis Nas only for a few minutes. Just as fast as they made their surprise appearance, Jay-Z and Beyonce were going in the blink of an eye. The lucky audience of Coachella will have a night to remember forever.

Chris Brown is not in LA jail, but in a Virginia jail and it’s like the four seasons. Chris was placed in limited general population. He gets to shower whenever he wants and he has basic amenities. He gets TV, telephone, library, exercise, and meals in the cafeteria. An administrator said Chris does not get special treatment because he is a celebrity. Virginia jail beats LA jail where Chris would be in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day, while in Virginia he has free range to interact with other inmates. Let’s just hope there are no Rihanna fans in that jail or a jail house fight might break out.

WWE legendary superstar and newest inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame, the Ultimate Warrior has passed away. The Ultimate Warrior, James Hellwig, was just inducted into the WWE hall of Fame the night before Wrestlemania 30. He made his first appearance on Monday Night Raw this past Monday after being absent for 18 years. He had just singed a multi-year contract with the WWE to be an official ambassador. The cause of death is still unknown; all we know is that the Ultimate Warrior collapsed outside of his hotel in front of his wife and kids. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Ultimate Warrior began his career in the WWE in 1987 and quickly became one of the biggest superstars of all time, defeating Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania VI. The whole world is saddened by the lost of their wrestling Hero. RIP Ultimate Warrior, you may be gone but your legacy lives on.

Jamie Foxx is reportedly attempting to reconcile with his biological parents who abandoned him more than four decades ago.

Foxx, born Eric Marlon Bishop, was left in the care of his mother’s foster parents when he was seven months old and struggled to understand why his parents did not make contact with him as he grew up.

The Oscar winner is now trying to build bridges with his parents and has even moved his mother, Louise, into his home in an effort to forge a relationship with her.

“We’re trying to learn (about) each other,” he tells Britain’s The Sunday Times Magazine. “The one thing I think is great is she’s in the same house, because you realize certain things that you missed when you were growing up, like, ‘Oh, I do that because of that,’ or, ‘Oh, I do this because of that.’ It’s profound.”

Attempts to reconcile with his father, who has since converted to Islam, haven’t gone as well, but Foxx remains hopeful.

“Fingers crossed, it will become a real thing,” he says. “But the door is open. That’s one thing I’ve learned: always keep the door and your heart open… I don’t hold a lot of grudges… But it’s tough, you know? Because there are questions, like, ‘What happened? Where were you? Were you stricken with something? Could you not make it?’ Growing up, I would always go, man… I’m a good dude. I wasn’t the kid getting in trouble. I was quarterback on the high school football team. And he only lived 28 miles away. So I always said to myself, you know, I’m gonna grade him a little harder for that, because he could have tried.”

Kanye West, Kim Kardashian
Barack and Michelle Obama was invited to wedding of Kanye and Kim? That struck me as odd, when a recent report came through that stated people have been declining to attend the wedding. The Star Magazine is definitely a tabloid, but like the Enquirer, they sometimes have credibility. They report that about 105 people have declined their invite to the nuptials. But, it doesn’t stop there. Apparently, Robin Thicke, Jerad Leto, Jonah Hill, Anna Wintour, Oprah Winfrey, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, Prince, Karl Lagerfeld, Barack and Beyonce and Jay Z ALL said they won’t be there. Jay and B? Man, that sounds powerful to me and I find it difficult to believe that B and Jay would not go to the homey’s big day. The report is slightly confusing, but it suggests that the whole thing will be taped for an episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” That could definitely be a turn off. But, I would think they could work it out. Nevertheless, there seems to be a strong hatred against the Kardashians in general. I find that interesting since people continually give them energy, TV shows, clothing lines and even perfume so you can smell like them. Anyway….we’ll see won’t we?

David Letterman, the longest late night running show host in the history of TV has announced his retirement. He announced on his show last night that he would be retiring in 2015.   Fort Hood was apart of another deadly shooting spree yesterday. Specialist Ivan Lopez went from one building to the next firing a .45 caliber hand gun, killing 3 people and wounding 16 others. He then put the gun to his head and took his own life.
Lopez was deployed twice to Iraq but was not involved in the combat. He suffered from depression, anxiety and sleep disturbances, which doctors gave him Ambien to help him sleep. Psychologist saw nothing in Lopez's behavior that would lead to such a violent attack and his record shows no bad behavior, he was clean. Some say there was a disagreement in one of the units which may have led to the shooting but police are still unsure. Our thoughts and prays go out to all the victims families and everyone in Fort Hood Texas.

The winners of the Peabody Awards were announced on Wednesday, and Scandal was among the esteemed winners. The hit series, created by Shonda Rhimes and starring Kerry Washington, is one of the few scripted series recognized with the prestigious "excellence in broadcasting" award.

Orange Is the New Black The Returned and documentaries from HBO, PBS, ESPN and Frontline were also among the 46 winners.
The Peabody Awards, now in its 73rd year, is the oldest award in broadcasting, recognizes excellence in local and national news, radio, documentaries, online endeavors, children's programming, public service and entertainment offerings. Awards are not given out in specific categories: The Peabody board considers each entry on its own merit and seeks to award excellence on its own terms as well as "stories that matter."

As expected, PBS lead the pack with 12 wins, including recognition for The African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. and the documentary Central Park Five.

Columbus Short will evade the long arm of the law, at least for now. The Scandal star won't face criminal charges from the bar brawl last month in which he allegedly left a man bloodied and unconscious, TMZreports. Instead, the victim of Short's brutal attack hopes to reach a settlement with the actor.

A lawyer for the victim, whose name has not been released, said his client wants to resolve the situation as amicably as possible because he and Short have mutual friends — the altercation reportedly occurred during a family member’s engagement party.

During the March 15 incident, Short and the victim are said to have gotten into an argument that resulted in him telling the actor, “You might be richer than me but I get my girls to buy me everything I want, including your wife.”

According to eyewitnesses, the heated exchange prompted the actor to “sucker punch” the man in the back of the head, leaving him unconscious, bloodied and with a broken nose.

This isn’t Short’s first violent outburst. Earlier this year he was arrested twice for incidents of domestic abuse against his wife, and in 2010, he received three years probation after punching a man during a basketball game, knocking out several of the victim’s teeth.
