Some people are now not looking forward to the biopic at all. One of the skeptics is Marvin Gaye III. He’s upset about the film in which Lenny Kravitz will be starring in. Marvin III is a longtime friend of Kravitz and wants him to let go of the role because the movie will focus on the final years of Gaye’s life, which included substance abuse and turmoil. “The producers and directors of this film are very wrong and shameful … [They're] trying to do a film about a low period in his life. They don’t even know the whole story,” Marvin III said. “I would hope [Lenny] doesn’t have any idea that we are against this film being done.” Janis Gaye, Marvin’s second wife, was also weary of the project, saying that she feels “very skeptical”. Question to you: should the biopic go on or would this be too much to handle?
